Didn't like anything, except free kayak access.

A stay offered a nice escape with a delightful cenote accessible for kayaking and wildlife spotting—herons and even a baby alligator made it special. The fresh coffee with Mexican spices was a great way to start the day, paired with warm bread for breakfast. However, the limited breakfast options may leave you wanting more, and noise from the generator during rainy days is noticeable. While the staff were friendly, more storage would have been appreciated for a longer visit.

Cenote was beautiful, but Wi-Fi was slow and spotty during my stay.

beautiful location but inconsistent breakfast quality
The natural setting was stunning, especially being able to swim in the cenote and see wildlife like herons and a baby alligator. I also loved the peaceful deck by the water, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The coffee, enhanced with Mexican spices, was a nice touch in the morning. Additionally, having a garden view from the bungalow added to the tranquil atmosphere.
The breakfast spread felt rather basic each day, leaving room for improvement.

We spent 3 nights at Manglex Eco Hotel Tulum and absolutely loved every moment! The staff, including Chris, Alejandro, and Miriam, were incredibly friendly and attentive. The location next to a beautiful cenote was a highlight. we spent hours kayaking and snorkeling, discovering all sorts of wildlife. Plus, our cabana was charming, with its queen-size bed and lovely terrace. It felt private and exclusive, which added to the tranquility of our stay.
Generator noise might be bothersome at night.

This place was just a prime choice for my city holiday in Tulum with extraordinarily good value for money. The coffee infusions with Mexican spices at breakfast were an unexpected delight! Try to spend time kayaking in the cenote for a relaxing experience.

The breakfast might be basic, but the coffee infused with Mexican spices was a delightful wake-up call! Plus, you can paddle around in the cenote while spotting wildlife—what a vibe. Great location near amazing places for dinner, especially at Casa Banana Steak House, where the baby back ribs are the stuff of legends.
While they boast about solar power, that generator roars to life during rainy days. And who wants to share a tiny yogurt bowl at breakfast? A bit more storage would have been awesome for our longer stay.

can't wait to come back
The cabana was cozy and basic with mosquito nets. It had a private bathroom with free toiletries, a fan, and a nice terrace to chill on. There’s a beautiful cenote out back for kayaking. The lounge area by the water was great for spotting wildlife. Breakfast was fresh with fruit, toast, and awesome Mexican coffee.
